Buah Terap @ Tarap
Just want to share with you, one of my favorite sabah local fruit. The buah name is buah Terap. But, in peninsular it is well known as ‘buah liar’. I saw one in UUM. i asked my friend, what they call it, if im not mistaken, they call it terap as well (ehehe..ye ke..? correct me).
its scientific name is Artocarpus odoratissimus. Terap is from nangka families. (im not sure, but i read it from wikipedia) 
It tastes so sweet. I havent eat it since years ago. Buah ni bermusim. Accidentally i saw this buah while shopping for barang2 dapur with my mom in pasar pekan Papar. I’m quite excited because belum musim lagi… So, without thinking much, I bought it for rm1.50. i dont care much about the price, all i care about is the buah… eheheh.. yummieeee….

Terap… Sabah biasa panggil ‘tarap’. Best kalo buat kueh. Yang peliknya kat semenanjung nie orang tak kenal buah tu.. Nak jumpa memang susah la.. Dah lama tak makan

Kat semenanjung rasanya setahu aku buah yang dipanggil “buah terap” xleh dimakan.
Kena pegi Sabah la nak merasa makan.
